You’ve sold your home. You’re moving. What can you take with you?
Normally, you can take everything not attached to the home, excluding the items listed in the contract as “attached goods”. You can include and exclude any number of items so long as you’ve placed them in your sale agreement.
Before you remove items from the home, obtain the advice of your lawyer. A quick call can save you the time and expense of having to return and re-attach the vacuum system, the television mount, or the hot tub.
